@Ryanair I'm confused by your new check in rules. I now have to check in online between 48-2 hours before my flight. What happens when I'm on holiday and have no way of getting online or to a printer before my journey?
Hi Kara, you can check-in on the Ryanair app and download your boarding pass up to 2 hours before your flight, eliminating the need for printing out boarding passes.

I don't have a smart phone. Do you have any options once I get to the airport? Like a kiosk or a check in desk? There is a growing trend of tech free holidays, you need to take this into account. Internet and mobile phone signal is not a given.

Are they also planning to remove the Visa check that is basically a stamp on a printed boarding pass and is required for non EU passengers?

No idea, sorry

I see what's going on now, it's a sneaky trick to get people to end up paying £55 per person https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/travel/2018/05/ryanair-reduces-check-in-window-to-two-days---unless-you-pay-to-reserve-a-seat … Can you confirm if I have to pay the £55 if I check in at a check in desk more than 2 hours before the flight?
