@Ryanair - given what you are being investigated for - how do you justify splitting up a joint booking by 15 rows on a plane and forcing them to pay £10 extra to have the right to sit next to each other even when there are spaces next to each seat
Hi Robert, seats are allocated at random at the time of check-in, therefore we cannot guarantee you will be seated together unless you choose to sit together at the time of booking. Thanks AR

I completely understand that we might not be able to sit next to each other but I would expect there to be some element to alignment especially given the seats that were available. Placing us at either end of the blame appears a deliberate act to get extra revenue.

Of course it is. My husband and I have never paid to sit together but we always have done. This time we were split up despite plenty of seats together being available. It's a blatant attempt to get more money.
