Turned on my Kindle after having it in my cabin bag which went in the hold and the screen is now broken. Is claiming for damages like that from @Ryanair a lengthy / difficult process that could well be fruitless or is it worth me reporting?

It wasn’t, because I didn’t empty the contents of my cabin bag in the airport upon arrival to check if my things were all working. I will be on my return flight on Monday and will try to get this form then if that will work? Thank you for your reply!
