Just checked-in 2 people with Ryanair. We booked and paid together, with same surname and all same ref no's. Check-in just opened, so plenty of seats..
WHY does @RyanAir software prevent families sitting together unless we pay extra?
Shouldn't we all protest this stealth charge?
Hi Clare, if you choose randomly allocated seats then we can’t guarantee you’ll be seated together... MM

You shouldn't be offering random seats
@ryanair. Do you think all families hate each other so much they want to sit apart? Surely your priority should be making sure people stay together? -
Hi Richie, if you want to guarantee you are seated together, you can choose your seats at any stage. MM

My point is: The seats are available for us to sit together. Any computer program would allocate 2 people booking together seats together for anything seated. Except Ryanair. You have specifically written your software to *prevent* a party sitting together... unless we pay extra.
