@Ryanair really needs to clarify how new hand baggage rules affect existing bookings. #Ryanair #travel @TravWriters
2/2...however your 10kg cabin bag will be tagged at the boarding gate and placed in the hold at no additional charge. You will be able to take your smaller bag into the cabin. JC

1/2 So you're changing the policy on existing bookings – which is simply not acceptable. Of 3 tickets booked, 1 large/10kg cabin bag is a violin, other lge/10kg bag is camera gear. Obviously neither can go in hold.

2/2 Booking for 3 people costing £600+ was based on cabin baggage allowance advertised on site at time of booking - obviously. No indication given during booking process that policy would change or that if it did, existing bookings would be affected.

Hi Rudolf, in order for your bags to go to the cabin, you would need to book Priority Boarding. Im sorry for the inconvenience you may leave a complaint following this link: http://tinyurl.com/j66pajx JC

If the upcoming policy change had been shown/mentioned during booking process I could have added priority boarding + guaranteed 2 bags in cabin then (when it's cheaper) if I'd wanted to (or not made the booking at all).
