Usual @Ryanair customer support this morning. “Go to gate xx where your flight is boarding”. “Boarding in 5 mins”, oh hang on, “inbound flight is delayed by 45 mins.” Just be honest with passengers

Of course gate area has no seats for those who need it so people will be standing queuing for an hour or more. A feeble attempt to upsell speedy boarding hardly helps by the seated gate staff

An hour and 15 minutes after arriving at the gate we pass through passport check and...join another queuing system. No sign of boarding, no announcements. Total queuing time currently 20% longer than the actual flight.

@Ryanair appalling service at Stansted. Usual practice to make passengers queue outside in freezing temperatures?3 replies 0 retweets 2 likesShow this thread -
@Ryanair so are you going to bother to answer or is this simply standard practice?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

Didn’t answer my question - I asked if it’s normal practice & if so why you think it’s acceptable to queue in the freezing cold conditions at Stansted when the flight isn’t ready for boarding? Airport say that’s under your control.

Hi, when boarding a plane there can sometimes be an unexpected delay. Which can cause passengers to have to wait outside for a few moments. Our crew try to avoid this at all costs. But unfortunately there will be instances were it happens.
