Hi @Ryanair I am interested to know if it is worth your while charging more so that your customers do not get a random seat allocation. What percentage is paying the extra money? I feel your reputation is being damaged by this. Thanks
Hi Gregor, we offer both because there are people that don't mind being randomly seated and enjoy not having to pay for the seat. Including the price of the seat would change nothing for those that are willing to pay that extra price. DL

People do enjoy not having to pay for the seat, and also enjoy sitting next to their party. I am curious as to the % of people who pay extra i.e the value Ryanair place on their perception. Is it worth it?

Hi, it would be unfair to charge people for a seat if they do not wish to pay for it. Having an option is better for both parties. It provides choice. You can sit for free randomly. Or pay and pick your seat. DL

I understand and am not trying to argue: it gives you an opportunity to charge for something that was previously free. I just wondered how many people, as a percentage, choose to take you up on your offer to pay more for a specific seat.

Hi, we cannot release that kind of information on social media. DL
