@Ryanair According to gov.uk I don't need a passport to travel to Dublin. Is this correct? I have a driving licence provisional.
If you are travelling a UK to Ireland route valid passports are required as it is an international route. JH

Not according to the government website. It says valid ID is only needed.

Ireland, along with the UK, is a member of the Common Travel Area. British nationals travelling from the UK don’t need a passport to visit.

So would you mind telling me why I need a passport if the Gov.uk site is telling me I don't need a passport to visit Ireland?

Hi, Ryanair only accepts passports as valid ID. DL

Taken from the gov.uk site the rules are very clear. You don't have authority to override those rules.pic.twitter.com/RLVj4OkvBz
