@Ryanair can music instrument (bass guitar in a hard case) go on the plane? It is too fragile to be put down with checked luggage.

That is correct. You will be bringing it onto the plane so it is not classed as hold luggage. JH

You will need to book the name as Mr.Extra Itemseat or something similar. Have you booked for yourself already? JH
