What are you doing to deal with your own staff (Pilot) shortage which leaves you with no capacity to deal with these (or any other) demanding situations?

Curious though that it's always Ryanair who straight away cancel flights while other airlines are all running their service as scheduled!

I am just wondering how long it takes for people to realise that a cheap flight is no good if you can't get on it!!!

Cheaper for
@Ryanair to cancel flights than reroute them. As it's a strike@Ryanair only have to give you the cost of cancelled http://flight.No compensation for accommodation/new flights etc. After being stranded last year will never fly@Ryanair again. -
This is not true. They have to reroute you with other airline if FR flights not available. Buy another ticket and FR will reimburse you.

Aerlingus seem to manage ok. I guess Michael O'Leary just hates workers asking for a fair deal.

We were told to book another low cost airline to get us home, and that Ryanair would cover these costs, which with less than 48hours notice are significant.
