I’d like to see them work with national lenders to have mortgage payments pushed back 3-4 months...tacking the payments on to the end of the loan.

Don't be too sure. Although many Senate morons are very reticent, the D
actually said he wasn't ruling the idea of more payments out. If he gets on board (which, if he's smart, he will, as it's the only way to save his damaged rep at this point) they'd fall in line.
