Why you ask? Because this respirator doubles as a gas mask if you use the pink cartridges instead of normal ones. This man was covered on 100% of his body, including leathet gloves. started the looting, and ran away to the police station 3/x

You don't have any evidence that this guy is a cop. For me the biggest thing you have is he allegedly went to the police station. Many people in gas masks. I would say it's much more likely they are with Antifa. Not to say this isn't something the police wouldn't do.
