    A joint operation between the DEA and the Hattiesburg Metro Narcotics Unit led to eight arrests. Drugs, money, and weapons were seized during the operation.

    UPDATE: Jeremy Brown aka “J.B.” , 31, of Hattiesburg, turned himself in to Hattiesburg Police. He has been charged with accessory after the fact of a felony, and criminal street gang activity. He has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.

    HPD has issued two other arrest warrants in connection to the September 6th shooting in the 2300 block of McInnis Loop. Carrie Keys aka “Nikki” and Tanisha Carpenter aka “Snoody” & Jeremy Brown, is still wanted. Anyone with information contact HPD.

    Winborne is approximately 5’3 and 130 lbs. according to family members. If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, or have made contact with her. Please contact the Hattiesburg Police Department.

    WELFARE CONCERN: HPD is asking for help in reference to a welfare concern for Destinii Winborne, 20. Last seen on Aug. 7 at the Hburg Train Depot around 9:30 a.m. It is believed that she purchased a ticket & it is unknown if she actually boarded a train, or left the station.

    Buoy southeast of Gulf Shores, AL had a gust of 56mph. Center of roughly 50 miles ish southeast of Gulf Shores with expected landfall on Mississippi coast later this evening. Weather will go down hill pretty fast as rain/wind moves onshore.
