The legal entanglements that will arise will stop this. Just because you are + doesn’t mean acutely intoxicated at school. Not to mention confidentiality regarding <18yo for drug abuse management. ACLU will have a field day with this one for sure!

My kids' high school did hair follicle testing. Same thing with paying for it.

They already require them at my kid's school if you do any extracurricular or drive a car on campus. I didn't realize until my son told me that he had one. Apparantly his choir class counts as extracurricular

Also the drug tests are trash. I’d been on mega doses of codeine et al and had to do a work drug test. Which came back negative.
