Part of the “cognitive decline” campaign being spread by MAGA/Sanders twitter is to deny any coordination. The idea is that everyone is just now noticing that Biden misspeaks all the time and they’re suddenly alarmed by it. He’s been like this for decades!pic.twitter.com/2hEaD5VcPh

Quick Q Ryan, is Trump senile? Showing signs of dementia?

I’ve tried to be consistent on this: don’t play doctor when it comes to Trump’s mental state, Bernie’s heart, or Biden’s brain. That doesn’t mean those issues aren’t relevant, but we can’t diagnose from afar. B/w us my personal opinion is all 3 are probably too old for the job

It’s his stammer not cognitive decline - what’s Trump’s excuse?

Exactly. This smear on Biden is accomplishing another goal: take the air out of factual reporting on Trump’s real inability to pronounce words and his spasms, jerks or twitches that indicate a serious neurological issue. If it’s just political, no one pays attention.

I'm confused, you're arguing that literal coordination is what's happening instead of usual Twitter groupthink? Do you have evidence for that?

Joe Biden's opponents on the left and right are spreading a disgusting and baseless smear that he is in "cognitive decline," based on verbal slip-ups he makes when trying to suppress his childhood stutter. It's ageist and ableist AF. Stop doing it. https://washingtonmonthly.com/2020/03/06/the-disinformation-campaign-being-launched-against-biden/ …

The people accusing Biden of “cognitive decline” are just showing how sick they themselves are. They are people who will do and saying anything to win, or in many cases just destroy. Sanders could start speaking in tongues and they’d say “he’s fine, the establishment!!”

Hi. I cared for a grandparent that had Alzheimers and one that had dementia. Biden's struggles with coherence mirror what I saw on a daily basis. I don't doubt some people are simply dogpiling, but I think it's harmful to act like nothing is wrong with that man.

That people don't recognize that a stutterer sometimes mixes up words, despite being highly intelligent, says more about them than it does about the stutterer. Read this: https://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/arts-culture/stories/why-your-brain-can-read-jumbled-letters … That's kind of how a stutterers mind works. Idea!👍 Express it 😳
