    Twitter is weird. This random account “About Camp David” tweeted an old picture of inside one of the cabins at the presidential retreat and it turns out if you look closely at the tv a much younger me is on . h/t

    At their Camp David retreat this weekend, White House senior staff will stay in various cabins and will use golf carts to get around. They will meet with President Trump on Sunday.

    Oprah says she’s studying the Dem candidates and “it'll be very clear who I'm supporting.” Could be one of the most important endorsements of the primaries. She’s high on Buttagieg, has praised Beto, is reading Harris’s book, and knows Booker well.

    Terrific story on JFK Jr and George magazine. Tons of nice details, including Cindy Crawford's breeches on 1st cover being given a rockstar bulge until wiser heads (and retouching) prevailed. Also Al Franken was in the mix to be post-John editor.

    One interesting aspect of the Mueller Report is not what's in it, but how Trump's shills have reacted to it. They have taken two positions. 1. The report says exactly the opposite of what it says 2. The media totally screwed up this story. Both are worth a moment here. /1

    The way that William Barr mischaracterized the Mueller Report is appalling and scandalous. If you haven’t already looked at the side-by-side comparisons of the Barr letter to Congress and the actual language in the report, it’s really worth your time

    I finished reading the Mueller Report cover to cover today and standby this tweet 100%.

    Contra a lot of commentary: given the issues, stakes, and seriousness with which special counsel treated all of this, the media’s coverage of Russia-Trump connection and possible obstruction over the last two years was somewhere between about right and not quite aggressive enough
