    A Maryland judge threw out the state's gerrymandered Congressional map. It's good to see gerrymanders blocked, but we shouldn't have to rely on courts to ensure fair maps in the first place. Congress must pass the Fair Representation Act to end this cycle.

    Racism isn't like fog that just happens without human control. People were racist. If you don't say who was racist, you are actively covering for them. This headline is protecting the racists.

    In which tries to sound like he's condemning xenophobia but at the same time wants international law to change to accommodate xenophobia, which he views as natural and therefore good, I guess?

    The author can't make himself to face the reality that there can be no compromise. The people whose position he wants understood & accepted, those who don't want refugees from outside Europe, won't also want to give any support for them outside Europe.
