Alabama OC/QB coach Bill O’Brien has returned to New England and is being named the Patriots offensive coordinator, sources tell and me. O’Brien was a Patriots’ assistant coach from 2007-2011, and now returns to coach Mac Jones, whom he worked with at Alabama.

Gotta imagine assistant to the head coach will be added to his title. Also, feels like Belichick is doing the same thing with Mayo as he did with Josh McDaniels when he remained with NE in 2018 after turning down the Colts.

Adding an eighth team doesn't make sense. The issue is over seeding not whether a team makes the playoffs or not.
Also, the Titans didn't play a ton of players last week because the game didn't matter. If an eighth team is added, that game would've mattered in a big way.
