Alabama OC/QB coach Bill O’Brien has returned to New England and is being named the Patriots offensive coordinator, sources tell and me. O’Brien was a Patriots’ assistant coach from 2007-2011, and now returns to coach Mac Jones, whom he worked with at Alabama.

Even though they won a playoff game, wonder if Sean Payton to Dallas rumors pick up this week. Can’t rule anything out with Jerry Jones.

Gotta imagine assistant to the head coach will be added to his title. Also, feels like Belichick is doing the same thing with Mayo as he did with Josh McDaniels when he remained with NE in 2018 after turning down the Colts.

Interesting nugget for you—Patriots LBs coach Jerod Mayo was alongside Bill Belichick for all of New England's offensive coordinator interviews last week, per sources. Good sign of Mayo's growing role with the team. The team met with its five OC candidates over videoconference.

Joe Burrow is 10-2 ATS, including five straight covers, when the Bengals are underdogs of more than three points. Bengals currently +4.5 at Buffalo this weekend (via ).

It’s hard to say this result is surprising given the Buccaneers finished the regular season below .500, including losses to the Falcons, Steelers, Panthers and Browns.

No. 1 priority for the Patriots remains the same as it was a year ago - maximize Mac Jones' potential. Better coaches, better playmakers, better protection. Still don't truly know what the young QB can be.

The Patriots won seven straight games against the Bills from 2016-19. Since the Bills have won five of six by a combined score of 176-92.

Hoping for a coin toss to decide home team between Cincinnati and Baltimore in wild card round? This would happen with a Ravens win over the Bengals in Week 18 AND a Chargers win over the Broncos.

Adding an eighth team doesn't make sense. The issue is over seeding not whether a team makes the playoffs or not. Also, the Titans didn't play a ton of players last week because the game didn't matter. If an eighth team is added, that game would've mattered in a big way.

Current information we have: Bills-Bengals won't happen. The NFL is currently figuring out how to configure the AFC playoffs without that game. Could an eighth team be added to eliminate the bye week for the No. 1 seed?

Patriots get into the playoffs with a win over the Bills next week. Patriots can also get in with a loss IF: PIT loses on SNF (Week 17) OR in Week 18 NYJ beats MIA in Week 18 JAX beats TEN in Week 18

Patriots defense deserves credit but the fact Tyreek Hill only has three catches given the Patriots’ cornerback situation is coaching incompetence for Miami.

The fact it was ruled forward progress was stopped is what makes this even worse of a call. If it was ruled down by contact, Patriots could have challenged.

Patriots have lost four straight games against the Dolphins. Believe that's the longest losing streak against one team in the Bill Belichick era. They lost three straight to the Colts in mid-2000s.

While the Raiders signed Derek Carr to a 3-year, $121.5M extension this past offseason, the team would incur a dead cap hit of $5.625M if cut/traded this offseason. As far as QB deals go, that’s a minuscule amount. Will be an interesting offseason for Las Vegas at QB.

Patriots WRs have 7 touchdowns this season. 12 WRs league-wide have at least 7 touchdowns this season. Patriots WRs have 1,901 yards this season. Justin Jefferson has 1,623 yards by himself this season.

People are missing the point. Yes, it looks out of bounds, but keep in mind the limited views that were available at the time and even this zoomed-in still frame is super close. Makes it very hard to overturn what was called.

I don’t know what you’re looking at, but the black of his toe is clearly on the white! Incomplete pass!

This shows just how close the Keelan Cole TD was, and also that it was ruled correctly. There’s no clear and indisputable evidence to overturn the call on the field
