You know that Tillman was killed by friendly fire, right?
Doesn't mean he sacrificed any less, he gave his life for goodness sake, was willing to give his life on the battlefield. Tragic circumstances

As if calling the police stabilized anything! How many Moms called the cops to help their kid, kid ends up shot dead. "Scared for their lives" from a suicidal kid. Never call the police, never trust the police, they are on their own side first and always.
Never said the police. I referenced 911 which includes many more resources but now I know the source of your anger and limited perspective for a 360 point of view...

911 can at the very least refer you to the proper agency that you need.
