$750,000 since 2006, hardly a fortune. Why didn’t you add the timespan? It wasn’t sexy enough? Maxine Waters answers to her constituents who seem to be very happy with her. Why not target someone who’s really stealing from the American people, like Scott Pruitt?

Colleen, that may be crumbs to you but to most of us who have to put in an HONEST days work that is a lot. She also paid her for Slate mailings. That is just a way around campaign financing laws. She has no business screaming about that.

It isn’t crumbs to me. I am pointing out the way the tweet is written. It is written as if she got almost a million dollars when in fact it averages less than 60,000 a year which is a nice salary but not a big one.

Do you know if she actually doesn't work for this? There are tons of irregularities in the Trump Administration & would think you'd be very concerned about, say, Pruitt spending taxpayer money. I'm concerned about the way that Ivanka Trump managed to make 82,000,000 last year.

As far as going after Ivanka, my original tweet pointed out the factual error in Ryan's tweet. It also pointed out other egregious money grabbing on GOP side. Nobody is immune from this. Ivanka made the money I cited while she was NOT a private citizen but a US employee.

Ryan tweet was not incorrect, she made that money working for her mom while mom was hiding this payment to her daughter. She used Slate mailings which is a BS way to hide payments and not disclose it
