    Great to have students from with us today! Sparsholt have been a brilliant partner and have assisted greatly with our habitat improvements. Today we are teaching the next group of wildlife managers about our research on foxes and wader monitoring techniques :-)

    finds high breeding densities of Curlew inside MOD fenced areas but poor productivity! Hopefully, conservation management and advice will improve this going forward! Early stages but promising for another declining wader

    How has electric exclusion fencing worked over our project? A story of success and problems. With our approach, vegetation management is crucial for fences to be effective. More insights to come after the wader numbers are crunched.

    The Laser Fence project is trialling if deterrent lasers can be used to discourage farm pests. This approach is used effectively on birds in some situations but the jury is out on whether this application works for deterring mammals
