It seems to me that the parole of Chesa's father is akin to opening an old wound only to throw salt in it.

Lots of people who have been victims of crime do not support the crazy sentences that the United States has. Just so you know. Not all victims seek vengeance for the perpetrator especially after a significant amount of time served.
