To clarify, for those who have been discriminated against or mocked/dismissed by doctors...this Tweet was not directed at you. It was written after a heated argument with a COVID denier. I did not mean to be condescending to any of you...(unless you think COVID is a hoax). Sorry.

I’m an architectural designer at a design/build firm. We get people all the time who watch a few episodes of HGTV DIY shows & figure they are pros b/c they saw it on TV & the internet. Very similar I think...

I’ve had it quite often just being an EMT. Rolling up to a minor TC that bystanders think is catastrophic & have already inserted themselves into is the worst. “He needs a backboard and one of those neck things!” No, Karen, he doesn’t. Go away.

bystanders trying CPR on an epileptic seizure and refusing to listen to reason, anyone? (CPR with horrible form, I might add)

Definitely repair/tradesman. Dads call a plumber and spend the whole time trying to convince them they know more than them
-
Jeez, I call a repair person, and then ask questions, smiling the whole way, cause I KNOW what I don’t know, and some of that is what this person DOES know. I pay for the work, get the education for (commercial here) a smile and a Coke.
