    This is the kind of story our members relay every week from a brand that has shown reckless disregard for the workers which create it’s profit. It’s time for clear regulations which protect staff from unscrupulous franchisees, we would suggest our Charter

    I once worked for Costa. I was told not to come back because I got a horrible cold on my 3rd week (from another member of staff.) I then wasn’t paid for any of the work I’d done. I was young and didn’t think you could join a union for that kind of job. I was wrong.

    Our Sister union is having incredible success in the states organising hotel workers across the States and changing the lives of thousands through recognition agreements which demand twice yearly pay rises above inflation.
