I think part of it is: I'm not sure that showing antisemites graphic images of Nazis torturing Jews to death is going to make them *less* antisemitic.

I also increasingly think that there's something obscene about how some people like to treat the Holocaust as the most fascinating and meaningful allegory of all time. Why are Nazis so fascinating to so many people?

This is a bit off-topic, but - When I visited the World War 2 museum in Natick, Mass., on a group tour, the staff explicitly asked us not to post any Nazi propaganda or Nazi artifacts on social media to keep hateful people from stealing our photos and using them for recruitment.
