Have a story to share. About your human interests& personality. For the sake of simplification Eg "My grandfather owned a garage & hence I fell in love with cars & wanted to work in mobility space" Bind your story back to the JD, make it relevant, short, fun & truthful. <7>

Once you have a set of keywords, brainstorm how you can describe yourself as that person they are seeking for while also showcasing the skills they are looking out for. Never fabricate a skill you don't possess. Interviewers catch it. They value honestly & drive to learn <6>

Use the Job description to prepare if you're unsure how to go about it. Highlight a few of the most prominent required skills & map those to the skills you possess. Eg JD mentions they are looking for strong problem-solvers, self-motivated & initiative driven individuals <5>

What the interviewer is trying to calculate is an indication that makes him feel confident that you are qualified for the role. It's an opportunity for them to see how well you do with a generic, unplanned, impromptu & an unregulated question <4>

The answer to this question should be concise, honest & engaging. Try to avoid getting too much into details of all your previous jobs & projects. Resist the urge of going line by line of your cv & making it mechanical. Practise a few times since its sure-shot question <3>

Interviewers generally ask this question at the beginning of the interview. It is a great opportunity for the candidate to start the meeting at a strong point and getting this right is crucial since the ball is in his/her court. This also sets a tone for the conversation. <2>
