I keep repeating: Never. Underestimate. Trump's. Sadism.
(Or his racism.)
With respect and grief, @RuthHHopkins

His sadism is what has always concerned me the most. I'm worried the hardship stories of the gov't closure will actually encourage him to keep it closed as he'll need more and more stories of families in increasing pain to get his fix. :( (I'm hoping I'm wrong!)

-
You’re not wrong we were just discussing the same thing in our family.
-
In this case not being right would be a better alternative for all of humanity. A cornered malignant narcissist with a complicit Senate & possibly Supreme Court, with a War for Profit executive w/ no military experience heading the DOD is a very dangerous & deadly combination.

He deleted it, wonder if he found a more disgusting way to insult her now
-
He deleted it and then tweeted it again, apparently without changes. I guess he wants us to know his racism is intentional. We get it.
-
He added a missing comma to the second tweet. It took me a bit to figure out what changed.
-
Racist? You give him too much credit. He probably has no idea what happened at Wounded Knee.
-
Possibly, we know he never actually attended class while at whichever schools his daddy bribed to take him. He somehow learned nothing about economics at one of the very best schools for it too.

He’s beyond human kindness and empathy. His callous disregard for our first peoples makes me sick.
-
For any people other than himself.... he is a sick individual who if he didn’t have money would be holed up alone somewhere without a stage to play out his vengeance.

It baffles me that people voted for him
-
I felt this way the day we found out he is our president.
-
I realized that I underestimated the level of fear his supporters have. Even if it hurts them, as long as it hurts those others MORE it’s all ok. I’d hate to live like that.
-
They just see it very differently. I don't think they have any fear though.
-
Yes they do. They fear the browning of America which is exactly what 45 played on to get elected. They fear the loss of their power. The whole Nazi tiki torch March was them expressing their fear of being replaced. Most of all, they fear being treated the way they treat us.
-
That's a select group of people that was hyped by the media into a large movement. You're getting a distorted picture of reality for their ratings so they can make money. There are not 60M tiki torch Nazis. There's like 10,000 or less. The other 59.99M are of varying ilk.
-
I don’t mean the extreme out & proud fanatics when I say his base. Regular joe & tom fear their jobs are being taken, that “other” people will take more than their fair share, that women will begin moving away from their power. So much fear.
-
I think they are a bit more rational than that. You have to watch FNC much to understand the point of views. Probably half just voted for him because he was on the Republican ticket. The next 25% voted for him on economics. Only the last 25% is varied from tacit to strong racism.
