Sanctions are hurting the wrong people. It is easier for a government to do the right thing when it has the means to provide for its people. Though the reasons you state above have been used to justify sanctions, they are not the real reasons.

I agree, but sanctions on Venezuela and Cuba must be kept. Those are tyrannical regimes and will steal any humanitarian aid or money sent to help fight the crisis
