The Munich agreement and others were aimed at controlling an unpredictable Hitler in a climate of anti war sentiment following WW1. The Molotov Ribbentrop was a pact to jointly invade Poland and carve up the spoils. It is incredibly disingenuous of Putin to suggest otherwise.
