Willie is right. My uncle had MS, was falling apart from all the opioids & drugs once he had to start using a walker, then a chair. The pain killers vs cannabis was a world of difference. He was in a drugged-out state on the pain killers to where he couldn't function. When he smoked a joint it took care of the pain & could still talk & share his life stories. I will fight to legalize it if Elected for him.
So many of us have stories of friends or family members addicted to prescription opioids or prescribed so many different pills that it leaves them not able to function. It's time to open the door to Cannabis & get people back on track. The stigma is from the RX owned in congress.

Exactly, I was on so much morphine for my back,, if I missed 2 days, I would suffer withdrawals the last time caused a heart attack. With Cannibis, I can regulate when its in my system and skip a couple of days if I choose to. So glad it's legal in Nevada

My mom had MS as well, she passed away 15 years ago and never had a legal option for pot. Unfortunately, pain meds and self medicating with booze recked her liver and cause her death just after she turned 55.
I am sorry to hear about your mom. That is a deadly mixture for sure. My uncle passed right around the same age as well but wasn't expected to even live that long. So many people live through this every day. So many we could be saving, or at least extending their final years.
