I’m not working, since March. And zero unemployment. I’m over qualified for any PT job (been told that), & can’t find FT employment, NADA. My phone has melted into my hand applying for posted jobs.
While I love that Texans are able to work, we could of used that money to help fund our failing Texas Hospital system, to get more lab workers processing tests faster than 2 weeks it takes now & get proper PPE to those who need it. This is the reason we need Universal Basic Income now more than ever during this pandemic. You are not alone & we should be doing all we can to protect you! These are scary times. We need at least $2000 a month for every American under certain income levels so we can all survive!
