At this point in the pandemic we should be way better off then we are. We must rethink much of our daily lives. The millionaires and billionaires will be fine the next 6-12 months. We need to be helping those that are being evicted, the ones in miles long food lines.
We should be giving all Americans the option right now of denying work & not being denied unemployment due to this virus no matter the industry. We should be paying those that need it to stay home to flatten this curve.
We are in the middle of something we haven't witnessed or been through in our history. We can't continue the same old ways of life at this point. We have to rethink this country if we want to beat this pandemic. These people in power now are set in their ways. We need fresh ideas
Hey Russell......@TXWorkforce still won’t or can’t answer the phone. I’m in appeal status with unemployment.....no joy, since March. It is what it is. I check online a couple of times a day, no change & no date for the tribunal phone call. I’m ready, wish they were.
I have heard this from so many Texans. I had one friend have to physically go to the Denison workforce office to get her appeal fixed. The TWC people are so overwhelmed right now that it's hard for them to catch up. They should be 10 times more staffed to cover it's just so much.
