If true this is a failure of both Grenell & Ratcliffe. Grenell for not telling during the daily briefings up until May. Ratcliffe for all the daily briefings since he became DNI. But of course we all know the truth, Trump was more than likely informed multiple times throughout the months by both DNI's & didn't do anything about it. Now the DNIs are both covering up for the incompetent president. That's why they were installed in the first place.

Or both were order NOT to brief trump and Pence so they would have deniability. This may be why the DNI was replaced. He knew and tried to brief one of them. That would mean trump and Pence had foreknowledge of Russian attacks even if not specific
I suspect they stopped briefing trump on things that made him mad. Bad mouthing Russia made him mad, so they skipped it.
