Stats for just my own county in my district for covid. We have a population of 136,000 people in the county.
391 total tests taken since Jan.
19 confirmed. 2 pending out of those tests.
It gets worse with testing levels the more rural each county becomes. This is a Failure

There are 740,000 people in the 18 counties in my district. We have a total of 100 confirmed cases in the district. That tells me we are not prepared to reopen. We do not have widespread testing so how will we know the true numbers? Ratcliffe has disappeared. We need leadership!

I live in Denison. My wife has MS and diabetes. I’ve had a stent put in last year. We’re both retired seniors and in desperate need to be tested. Nothing. Zip. Nada. We’re terrified.

I am so sorry about your situation. I received dozens of emails just like this, so many messages on facebook as well. It breaks my heart that we can't depend on our leaders to help us.
We shouldn't have to live in fear anywhere in America, but thanks to this admin we all are.
That is why I am so angry and on the offensive so much on twitter, we have no leaders to fight for us, that won't speak up. I am just an IT guy for a local hospital seeing how haphazard our Gov has treated this pandemic and doing what I can to get the word out and pray for change

I pray for your family Thomas, and hope that you don't have to venture into one of our hospitals anytime soon until we get proper testing. I have had to tell my 70 yr old mother not to go to the hospital unless it's a dire emergency because of the lack of testing. Please be safe.
