That is very scary. I myself have Alpha 1, a genetic COPD, as well as Asthma. Caught pneumonia in 2018 and that is what depleted the lung capacity. Been rebuilding it since then. Gone from 58% to 64% currently. I get weekly infusions to help cope, and breathing treatments daily.
