Our system is broken! I am tired of worrying how I would survive with the $15000 a month medications and $1200 a month for the infusions if i lost my job, how long could I live? Millions of us are in the same boat, and millions have unneeded stress caused by our healthcare system
For those wondering, I fight because I have Alpha 1, a rare genetic lung and liver condition. I have the lung condition and take a weekly infusion to help maintain my lung capacity. I will have a video up soon explaining a lot of this. But I know the fight because I am there too!
I don't have nearly the health problems you do (bless you!!) but I worry constantly about losing my employer's insurance. I can barely afford the copays. If I had to cover it all, I might live 2 months. 6 if I accepted homelessness.This should not be a choice people have to make
that is why we need real middle class Americans that know what we are truly going through representing us. Not the people who never had a care in the world and don't know the struggles of every day Americans and honestly don't care. So much would change if we had representation.
