In a few years history books r gonna teach that all “people of color” endured slavery. They use these small aberrational groups to make arguments that don’t make sense.https://twitter.com/RussContreras/status/1272676231348056064 …

Glad you brought that up because people of color did endure slavery, if you also are talking about Mexican Americans and Native people https://www.amazon.com/Other-Slavery-Uncovered-Enslavement-America-ebook/dp/B011H55MIG …pic.twitter.com/tJgHVJmPin

“People of color” did not endure Chattel slavery. American Descendants of slavery did.

Actually, that's not true (See: "The Other Slavery: The Uncovered Story of Indian Enslavement in America") https://www.amazon.com/Other-Slavery-Uncovered-Enslavement-America-ebook/dp/B011H55MIG …pic.twitter.com/oN3zLaknvn

Actually, it is. I know about Indians being enslaved, but that’s not the same as what ADOS endured and continue to endure. The fact that you are trying to piggyback on the story of my ancestors is extremely disrespectful.

He doesn’t care about respecting Black people. He wrote a piece talking about POC being lynched because 5 young Black men have been lynched in the last few weeks. These people use Black Death as a come up whenever they can.

No, I wrote it because of anti-lynching legislation being held up in Congress after centuries.

It's no use trying to talk history to people these days.
