I never listen to bogus critiques about slavery in Mexico. The Mexican people fought & died for independence and *to end* slavery. We as a people settled the slave issue on our own. We don't need woke American critics who were late to the game on civil rights to try to divide us.

That is partially true, there was some kind of slavery in places like Yucatan at the beginning of the XX century
