Not good enough. How many Mexicans vs Blacks? You’re comparing apples v oranges. American Blacks are STILL a bottom caste in this country, even though we’ve been here longer than immigrants, bc this abuse was targeted to our communities.

@RussellContreras should actually read "Fighting their own battles". It's a great exploration of just how WHITE Mexicans were in Texas - in their own words. They were not on the side of civil rights. They were not minorities. They were complicit in the racism of the day.
