Conspiracy theorists thrive on "Prove it really happened the way you say it did". After all of the reminders of the Confederate War and slavery are gone, and everything is renamed - a hundred years from now will future generations really believe that we fought a Civil War?

If they are named after Union heroes, maybe. It's possible with Confederate monuments still around some may assume the South won the war. Did they?
