  And it was around the same time that the Blowouts were happening in East LA when Chicano students walked out of Roosevelt,Lincoln,Garfield and Wilson. And black students at Manual Arts and Jefferson walked out in solidarity. My cousins went to Roosevelt and Manual Arts.
