      I always thought so. I remember being in salsa clubs in the 90s and we would all swing an air bat when that lyric was sang. I saw El Gran Combo live once and saw it again @dgbxny would know for sure

          Song came out in 1979 and Tony didn’t make his ML debut until 82. My money is on a different Tony Fernandez
