And get the parents and grandparents involved! A lot of the poverty cycle is sadly passed down from generation to generation. Including lack of education. Especially among girls,where they're expected to be moms and wives instead of pursuing an education.
How much good does a preschool experience offer children born in poverty? Enough to make their later lives much better, and they pass a heritage of opportunity on to their own children. #poverty @manditorrez
