That’s fair but you also focused on my sister’s nonexistent “Spanish-speaking” skills and we know why. Why not focus on her Jewish last name, too, while you are at it? Or that she’s from one of Houston’s oldest families?

We don't care if she's Jewish, Spanish or Eskimo. We wanted to play a sample of the Houston poet laureate's work on the radio and that video was the only sound bite we could find. I think Leslie was dealt an unfair hand by Mayor Turner - worst timing ever.

Finding a “Spanish” video doesn’t mean she’s Spanish speaking.
