      San Diego has better waves, nicer people and yes, better Mexican food if you simply stroll a few steps south. I grew up on tacos al vapor at La Especial. SD also produces the best music critics (Cameron Crowe, Lester Bangs) and superior Chicanos (@laloalcaraz, @ajgradilla).

      Historically speaking, if you are a 4th+ generation Mexican American and you live in SoCal, you were Tejano first. All y’all cholos had to come through El Paso first to get into US back then. #SelenaPower #FlourPower #TejanoHegemony
