Disagree with Russ’s aspersions. Response due to past work in Artesia. You seem hyper sensitive. I support/defend the 1st Amendement. If a journalist, call & get the complete Story. There is a difference between punditry and journalism. Fighting 2 Reforming immigration since 1997
Not "hyper sensitive." Responding with #facts since I have covered immigration for year and I was puzzled by the lack of intensity of protests in New Mexico around Central American migrants during Obama Admin. (there were protests out of El Paso and Las Cruces however).

#fact. We spent weeks —day and night in Artesia calling out the injustice of detention and the 3 minute hearings in 2013. I even bought a print cartridge for inside facility so they could print their appeals. Never saw you or heard from you. Does that mean you went covering? -
Once Artesia closed protest continued nationwide and NM was largely quiet.
