NM groups weren’t silent. They were traveling to Artesia and raising awareness as well. Immigration attorneys were giving their time and groups were taking supplies down there. Groups like NM Dream Team were also stopping deportation buses.

Those were rare cases in NM. Most of the time, they were silent on the plight on Central Americans and focused on their provincial, local issues. I covered. I know.

I know as well, and I think you’re reducing the work by calling it provincial. I don’t know if it’s an issue of silence or capacity.
