With #DRIVECLUB having gone gold I get plenty of questions about the install size. We managed to compress it to just ~17GB in the end :)

I'll take that bet. DRIVECLUB's loading times are amazing. On average about 10 seconds or less on a stock HDD.

But how? That's pretty miraculous. I was always worrying about 50GB games for next-gen. Bet the small size helps with load times.

It was the goal of very fast load times that helped drive the smaller package size. It was worth the effort :)

Still gutted about no split-screen :( can't you just downgrade the graphics when you play splitscreen?

It's something we get asked about a lot, & I wish it was as easy as just downgrading the graphics, but its a lot more complicated.
