All you folks suggesting that countries stop trading in dollars better be prepared to start living in huts and eating termites bc if US goes down, whole world econ goes down and no one, not China, not Russia, could step in to save it.

Sorry bro. Am not a fan of the US by any means, but the US is the only nation with a blue water navy in the world. Those aircraft carriers (and support vessels) guard all the vital shipping lanes in the world, unmatched. Russia cannot compete on that front even if they wanted to.

The US is incapable of invading Russia militarily. If they do, it will be the end of the United States. But the US is totally capable of blockading South Africa or Brazil for example to deny it's trade with Russia or China. That is the power of the US.
