    Breaking/ just tried to ban certain national newspapers from a Number 10 briefing. This is truly sinister stuff. Hats off to the BBC, ITV, Mail, Telegraph & Times for walking out too in protest, rather than let him get away with it.

    In the context of BBBC report this feels relevant… we realise a lot of development is poor quality, we change things eg CABE's 'By Design' things improve (?) we sweep away the guides as planning is difficult, quality goes down we go around again... or am I getting jaded?
